International Board Certified Lactation Consultant
Passionate about supporting mothers and babies through the postpartum journey, Megan Wheeler brings a compassionate, individualized approach to lactation care at Wonderfully Made Women’s Health. As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), she combines her clinical knowledge with personal experience to help families navigate breastfeeding challenges and achieve their feeding goals with confidence.
Originally from Idaho, Megan moved to Raleigh in 2018 to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Her own breastfeeding challenges with her first child inspired her passion for lactation support. She understands the physical and emotional demands of infant feeding and is committed to providing personalized guidance that respects each family’s unique needs, goals, and values.
Megan takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to lactation care, recognizing that every family’s feeding journey is different. She also has a special interest in maternal mental health and strives to create a welcoming environment where mothers feel heard, understood, and supported. Through education, encouragement, and practical solutions, she helps parents navigate the postpartum period with greater clarity and confidence.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, serving at their church in Morrisville, and visiting local coffee shops for her favorite iced vanilla oat milk latte. She also loves exploring new hobbies and taking on fun, creative projects.
