Carey Amato is a dedicated Physician Assistant at Wonderfully Made Women’s Health, passionate about supporting women through every stage of life. With clinical experience in orthopedics, pain management, and lifestyle medicine, she takes a compassionate, patient-centered approach to helping women achieve optimal health and well-being.
Carey earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2014 and her Doctor of Medical Science degree from A.T. Still University in 2024. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Physical Education and Health, with a concentration in Exercise Science, from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. As a Menopause Society Certified Provider (MSCP), she has specialized knowledge in supporting women through perimenopause and menopause.
Carey believes in empowering women through education, personalized care, and collaborative decision-making. Her goal is to help every patient feel heard, supported, and confident in their health journey.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Carey enjoys spending time with her husband and four children. Outside the clinic, she coaches gymnastics and enjoys gardening and playing the piano.
